NBC herättää henkiin vuonna 1999 ilmestyneen Cruel Intentions - Julmia aikeita -elokuvan tv-sarjan muodossa.

Deadlinen mukaan [lähde] 38-vuotias Sarah Michelle Gellar palaa Kathryn Merteuilin rooliinsa.

TV-sarja sijoittuu tapahtumiin 15 vuotta elokuvan jälkeen. Pilotin jälkeen NBC tekee päätöksen sarjan jatkosta.
